Smile.io is a loyalty app that has over 100k live programs of different sizes, from small local stores to billion dollar businesses. Smile’s programs have more than 100 million participants around the world. Chances are you are already a member of one of these programs.

I was sold on the idea of Smile.io before I ever thought about working there.

At Smile, I spend about 20% of my time working on visual design projects to help support marketing and product teams with whatever they may need!

A project I really enjoyed was the alignment of all visual design assets across the company. We broke down all of our channels and decided we needed to create two brand kits that were aligned but also worked in their own way to suit the tone of the audience. From here I built out two new design systems full of illustrations, icons, and templates for everything from YouTube tutorials, to social posts, to blog headers, that teams can use to create their own consistent visual assets - saving time and energy all around!

At Smile, I spend about 80% of my time working on product design projects, mainly focusing on the shopper facing side of the application.

A project I really enjoyed being a part of is the ever evolving Shopper Journey. As a team, we are always thinking about where our product could end up. This project involved planning, research, designing tons of new ideas, prototyping and more.
