Campus Peer Support is an amazing project funded by the government of Canada. For anyone who knows me, they know this is a dream project for me. I am passionate about mental health care and improving support services for students. This project opened up a lot of doors for designing more for health and wellness organizations.
-
Campus Peer Support is a wonderful organization under the umbrella of the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) National Division. They are a three-year pilot project that will offer a specialized peer support training and certification on Canadian campuses, in partnership with local CMHA offices, providing post-secondary students with the tools they need to support each other’s well-being.
-
My partnership with Campus Peer Support started with the need for mental wellness tools (see Press Pause) and then they noticed I could do other design work for them too - and their list of needs would continue to expand over the next year or so.
The first few projects I’ll share here are the visual identity, LinkedIn Learning badge, PowerPoint templates, and a Certificate for peer supporters. The was to create their own distinct brand that was bilingual, clearly in partnership with the CMHA, and displayed a youthful, warm tone.

The best part about this partnership is that it’s just beginning! We’re currently working on improving their eLearning courses with user experience design practices, along with many other visual design projects - think posters for digital conferences, marketing material takeaways for in person activities, and so much more.
This project is currently ongoing, if you are interested in learning more send me a message and I can share some updates!
